Privacy

Plain words, because that's the whole point of this app.

What we store

Your account email, your plans and tasks, your brain-dumps (including saved ones and held thoughts, with any mood tag you chose), your energy pattern, notes you keep about people and conversations, and — if you connect them — push-notification subscriptions and Google Calendar tokens. It lives in our database (Neon, Postgres) and is used only to run the app for you.

What reaches AI

When you tap "Make it a plan" (or ask for re-planning), the text of that dump and your task titles are sent to Google's Gemini API to shape the steps.

When you log a conversation with someone, that note is also sent to Gemini — to suggest a few topics, a next-time prompt, and (if you mention another person you track by name) a possible connection between them, which stays unconfirmed until you approve it. This is on by default; turn it off per-account any time in Settings and no further notes are sent. Nothing about people is ever used for anything but showing it back to you — no training, no ads, no sharing.

What we don't do

No ads, no selling data, no analytics trackers, no reading your calendar events (only busy times), no streaks watching you. Payment details go to Stripe; we never see card numbers.

Your controls

Delete any task, thought, note, or person whenever you like. Settings lets you download your data or delete your entire account — deletion is immediate and unrecoverable, and removes everything above.

Questions

Mindplan is a small product; write to the address on the account you signed up with and a human will answer.
